Middle School Hockey

A balanced scholastic hockey experience for developing players as they build confidence, compete with classmates, and prepare for high school hockey.

Development, Competition, and School Pride

Middle School Hockey gives players a chance to represent the Great Valley Ice Hockey program while continuing to develop their skills, team habits, and understanding of the game. It is an important bridge between younger school hockey and the high school program.

Middle School Hockey is intended for players in grades 5–8.

Program Focus

The focus is development, team structure, accountability, competitive habits, and preparation for the high school level.

Registration

Middle School registration is currently open through TeamSnap. TeamSnap will also be used for communication and team updates.

Good Fit For

This level is a good fit for players who want to compete with classmates, continue building their hockey foundation, and prepare for the high school program.

Many players may also participate in club hockey. Families should review schedules and expectations once details are confirmed.
